 Message from Alumni Peggy Weidman:
As part of the Great American Clean-up, Beautify Fort Smith is having a litter pick-up day on April 21, 8:00am to noon with a hotdog lunch provided by Arvest to follow. Areas to be picked up are throughout the city, main thoroughfares, neighborhoods and businesses. Some may have areas in mind to pick up or could be assigned some at registration.  Registration is at Southside High school parking lot, trash bags will be provided as well as some gloves and vests (until we run out). We are asking that the bags be returned to Southside so that they may be counted. We would like to make a big impact in a short time. The Great American Clean-up is held from March 1st to May 31st. Last year 211 communities in Arkansas participated, FSM was not one of them We need to get FSM involved hopefully making an impression on those who litter.
